So about a month ago we purchased a kids Bible for Brook. We were a little unsure if she'd be interested, but, to our surprise, she was. We read through many of the stories in the first week and returned to the "bad" ones often (it seems that Brook likes the ones with lots of violence--the bloodier the better). After that we began to act out her favorite stories--David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lions Den, Elijah and the prophets of Baal, Moses crossing the Red Sea, Jonah and the Big Fish, Joseph and the Many-Colored Coat, etc. Now she likes to read to Rosie. Mandy snuck up on them one day in the livingroom.

Bible Scholars in the Making?
