Our trip East took us first to Uncle Brent's house. He lives just outside of Chicago. We spent a couple of days with him, hanging out, watching cartoons on his gigantic television - the girls were in awe - and playing with Maddie the dog. We had a really great time. Our paths don't cross enough and the girls have really missed him so the visit was good. We had time to catch up. Brookie was of course a bit quiet and shy at first but Rosie was snuggled up beside Brent within minutes of our arrival. After two days together, neither Brookie nor Rosie wanted to say good-bye. But we got to stay over again with Brent on our way back to Caronport, which was fantastic. Thanks, Uncle Brent! We love you!
